I cannot believe that 2015 is over! The holidays went by so fast and if January wasn't my birthday month I would definitely be suffering from after Christmas sadness. December was a crazy month for me with finals and trying to do a million things before the end of the semester, but then I got to come home, which makes it all worth it. Below I have a recap of my December through Instagram, if you're not following me (@theblushblonde) make sure to do that now!
Pink is my absolute favorite color and I believe that it is appropriate all year round and for every holiday. It's no surprise that I have a pink tree that I put up in my apartment at school. My tree always makes a big hit and I look forward to putting it up every year!
In the beginning of December my sorority had Formal at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. I had never been there before and it was an awesome place for an event. I brought my friend Sam as my date and we had so much fun and were as sparkly as a Christmas tree!
I was loving all the Christmas trees I was seeing throughout December. This one was in the lobby at my doctor's office and I couldn't resist taking a fun picture of it.
These were some gifts I picked up for Christmas and birthday presents. I love buying presents because giving gifts is my absolute favorite. I do always manage to land up finding something for myself though when I'm doing my holiday shopping and the white headwrap is for me, it was too cute to resist.
I took this snap while studying for my Communications Law final, which thankfully was my only exam. I landed up having mostly papers last semester then tests, which I so prefer. I absolutely love my planner and it makes schoolwork just a little easier to do.
When I got home from school I discovered this mini tree my Mom had put in my room. My Mom loves decorating for Christmas and always does such a great job. This year mini trees (like this one) were the newest addition and they were too cute!
My favorite part of being home is getting to be with Coco! I get to see/talk to my parents and sister when I'm at school, but I don't get to do that with Coco so I miss her a lot. I love being home and getting to love and snuggle her all I want.
My Mom got me this Elsa itty bittys ornament from Hallmark. I had had my eye on this for a while so I was super excited when she brought it home. She made a great addition to the tree and was a nice addition to my girly ornament collection.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is baking cookies. Christmas time is really the only time of the year when I roll out cookies and I think that it makes it more fun. I always make gingerbread cookies and butter cookies. Pictured here are the butter cookies, and the recipe I use is actually from my Great Grandmother!
This year Santa was extra good to me and brought me the most gorgeous Tory Burch bag! I kind of drove Santa insane picking out said bag, but I love the one I decided on. You can see my new bag here!
