Beauty Review: 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer

When I was asked to test the 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer I jumped at the chance!  The company told me that "the revolutionary blow dryer is a professional’s – and now a consumer’s! – dream: versatile, durable, extremely quiet, and super lightweight."  I usually hate drying my hair because it is so noisy, and the dryer is so heavy that I get tired from it; needless to say I was excited at the promise of a quiet and lightweight hair dryer.

In addition to being light and quiet the hair dryer has many other qualities that are beneficial to your hair and how you style it.  It uses negative ions to break down water and speed up drying time, which in turn reduces damage to hair.  Moreover negative ions help to seal the cuticle and eliminate frizzing.  With the flip of a switch though you can use positive ions to volumize hair.  The dryer also features two speeds and three different heat settings, which makes it easy for you to choose the temperature you want.  Furthermore, the 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer is anti-static, has an extra long cord,  comes with a concentrator and diffuser, and has 2,000 life hours (a typical hair dryer only has 800 hours).

I have been using the 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer for a few months now and I have to say it is the best hair dryer I have ever used.  My favorite feature is definitely its weight, it's so light, which makes drying my hair much easier.  I really cannot say enough about how important the lightweight is for me; I have a chronic pain condition, which can make drying my hair miserable at times because of the heavy weight of most hair dryers, but I never have that problem with this.  Additionally, it's one of the quieter hair dryers I've used and dries my hair very quickly, which are both big pluses in my book.

Another feature I love is option to switch between different heat settings; I use the hot setting to help get the initial moisture out of my hair, then use the warm setting for the majority of my drying to minimize damage, and finish with the cool setting to help seal the cuticle.  The ion generator switch on the side, which allows you to choose from negative or positive ions, really helps you to go between voluminous and sleek looks.  My hair also feels softer after using this then it has with previous hair dryers.

I've used a lot of different hair dryers over the years and I have to say that 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer is the best I've ever used and my favorite.  Not only does it make my hair look better and minimize the damage, but it makes drying my hair easier and more enjoyable with its light weight and quiet fan.  If you're in the market for a new hair dryer I would highly recommend checking this one out, you will not be disappointed.

*I was given the 1907 by Fromm Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer by Skirt PR to facilitate my review, however opinions of this product are all my own.

Friday Favorites

Favorite Home Decor Blushing Mercury Jars
I fell in love with these dreamy rose gold jars on Pinterest.  They would look so chic in a bathroom filled with cotton balls, q-tips, or any other beauty supplies.  They would also look beautiful on a vanity, desk, or dresser - the possibilities are endless!  I am huge fan of rose gold and would especially love with blush colors - I think it would make for the prettiest room decor!

Favorite Office Supply Quick Slackin' Journal
This is another fun Pinterest find!  The saying on this is so cute and would be the perfect inspiration for when I'm procrastinating.  This would be great for taking notes, doodling, or even just putting on your coffee table or desk to brighten up a room.

I am crazy about sunscreen and love this article from Byrdie about what sunscreens to wear with makeup.  It gives you fourteen sunscreens that work well with your makeup and will help to shield your skin from the damaging rays of the sun.  While sunscreen is extra important in the summer, when the sun's rays are the strongest, it's important to wear it all year round and this list is sure to help you find one you love!

Favorite Eat Munchies Waffles
On Thursday I hit up one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia - Max Brenner.  Max Brenner is an amazing restaurant with a focus on chocolate.  While you can get regular food there (my mom got a BALT, bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato) I always go for the sweets!  The Munchie Waffles are two sugar waffles each topped with whipped cream and ice cream, than melted chocolate is drizzled on top, AND you get more melted chocolate and Choco-Pops on the side.  It is beyond delicious and my favorite thing to order there!

McKenna Bleu's review of Lion Sands Game Reserve in Johannesburg, South Africa gave me serious wanderlust!  It details her stay at the reserve and all the activities she participated in.  The post is filled with the most gorgeous pictures and will leave you wanting to go to Lion Sands Game Reserve too.

What are your favorites this week?

Lady in Blue

Romper: c/o Tobi  |  Shoes: DV by Dolce Vita  |  Sunglasses: Fendi  |  Earrings: Kendra Scott

As you all know I am a big fan of rompers, and I am completely loving this Valley Girl Romper from Tobi.com!  It's both feminine and flirty with the cute ruffle detail and the deeper neckline.  It's also super lightweight, which makes it perfect for the summer.  You can easily dress it up, like I have here, or down with flat sandals and stud earrings.  The only thing I want to warn you about is that the romper does run small, I'm wearing a medium here and would have been better off with the large because of my longer torso.

If you haven't shopped at Tobi before you have to check out their website.  They have the cutest clothes at really great prices - the romper I'm wearing here is only $50!  Tobi has tons of super on trend pieces and carries everything from dresses to bodysuits shoes to accessories and more!  This was my first time shopping with them and I was very pleased with my items.  I'm sad that I started shopping with them after I graduated college because their clothes would be perfect for different school functions.  For all my sorority girls I recommend checking out their bodycon dresses, cocktail dresses, and party dresses for your next date party, cocktail event, or formal!   I know that now when I have an event I will be definitely be looking to Tobi for an outfit.

Sidenote: I had to include the last picture because Coco was being too cute and I loved the shot!

What's in My: Makeup Bag

I haven't shared what I keep in my makeup bag in quite some time!  Since the last time I did share my makeup routine has almost entirely changed.  I feel like my makeup has matured with me and I'm much better at doing it now.  I've learned so many new tips and have been using some products I really love.  At this point I have my everyday look pretty set, but I love to experiment with makeup when I'm going out or shooting pictures for here.  I've been thinking about expanding makeup posts on here recently and figured this was the perfect place to start!  I may have some more makeup posts and even a surprise in the upcoming weeks and months.

Below I'm breaking down and giving you all the details on everything in my makeup bag.

EYES

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette- The colors in this palette are so versatile and can easily create countless different looks.  I also really love the consistency, wearability, and staying power of Urban Decay's eyeshadows.

Lilly Pulitzer for Estée Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow- This is the palette I grab if I'm going somewhere for the weekend and don't want to bring a lot.  It has a few neutral shades, as well as a few bold shades, which means I can do a lot of different looks with it.  The shadows are richly pigmented and nicely compliment each other.

SEPHORA COLLECTION NY Palette- Jordyn got me this for Christmas and it's such a fun palette!  It has three brown shadows and a gorgeous silver one.  The silver is my favorite in the palette and I love wearing it when I'm going out!

Lancôme Eye Brightening All-In-One 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Taupe Craze- I recently got this when I purchased a lipstick from Lancôme.  I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but the colors are gorgeous and have the most beautiful shimmer.  This palette is not only intended to be used as eyeshadow, but as eyeliner too.

shu uemura Eyelash Curler- This is the ultimate eye lash curler and has a cult following.  It has a great pad and gives the "perfect curl."

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Original- Another product with a cult following this is the best eyeshadow primer I've ever used.  I've tried a few different brands and I go back to this again and again.  I've been using it for 8 or 9 years now and plan to use it for many more.

Dior Diorshow Mascara- This is another product with a cult following and has reached holy grail status for many people.  This mascara is known for it's large brush, which is something I love.  It has great color and wearability and I also love the way it smells!

Benefit Cosmetics Stay Don't Stray in Light/Medium- I use this for two reasons, first as a primer for under eye concealer and second as a concealer on my eyelids.  I primarily use this for the first reason mentioned and it does an amazing job of holding my concealer in place.  When I use it on my eyelids I use it over the Primer Potion because it does not hold eyeshadow as well as it does concealer; I use it to give a nice even color to my otherwise veiny eyelids.

COVERGIRL Professional Natural Lash in Clear- I use this as a brow gel.  I've been using this for over ten years and it does a great job of making sure my brows are all in place and look great.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black- I've written about this a lot recently on here because it is amazing.  Read more about why I love it so much here.

COVERGIRL Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in Intense Black- COVERGIRL sent this to me a few months back before it was launched and I've been using it since then.  I love liquid liner and this one is okay, not my favorite, but for now it does the job.

Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Ebony- I also got this when I purchased a lipstick from Lancôme.  I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like a very dark black and I can't wait to try it.

FACE

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated in Luminous- I've recently started using this and have completely fallen in love with it.  It is the most gorgeous shimmer powder that looks great on my skin.  Read more about why I love this here.

tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in Park Ave Princess- This is another new product and I'm still not sure how I feel about it.  You can read more about my thoughts on it here.

Benefit Cosmetics Coralista Powder Blush- I haven't been using this as much recently because I purchased the blush below.  I did use this for a few years though and it gives a gorgeous coral/bronze color; however, I wasn't thrilled with its wearability, which is why I didn't repurchase it.

tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Glisten- This is the blush I have been using and I'm really happy with it so far.  It has much better wearability and it's a beautiful color.  Read more about my thoughts on this here.

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water in Fair- I've been using this for a few months now and I like it, but I don't love it.  The girl at Sephora told me that it would be super moisturizing, but I don't find it to be as moisturizing as I would like.  Also I feel like it kind of just sits on top of my skin and I don't get the benefits from a BB Cream I was looking for from it.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer- I use this when I know I'm going to have a long day or night.  I put it over my BB Cream and under my concealer to help concealer stay in place.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder- I use this to set my under eye concealer; it helps to make it stay put and brightens the area.  This has been a favorite of mine for quite some time and you can read more about it here.

Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Concealer in 01-Light- This industrial strength concealer covers up everything from dark circles under my eyes to blemishes to any irritations.  I recommend using it with a concealer brush to blend everything for a natural look.

Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up! Highlighter- I use this to highlight areas on my face where the light hits.  I love to layer it under Urban Decay Naked Illuminated on the tops of my cheekbones for a gorgeous look.

LIPS

Lancôme Color Design Lipcolor in Trendy Mauve- This is a pretty nude that's perfect for spring and summer.

Lancôme Color Design Matte Lip Crayon in Drive to Pink- This is a beautiful electric pink that is so much fun for the warmer weather.  It has a nice matte finish and I will be wearing it all summer.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella- This is my go to red lipstick.  I'm obsessed with NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils for their rich pigments and great staying power.

NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien- This is my favorite pink neutral lip color and it really enhances a natural makeup look.

Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Woo Me- This lip gloss is a fun pink color; it is more pigmented then most lip glosses and has a tasteful shine to it.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry- This cult product looks much darker in the tube, but applies lighter.  It is a dark cherry and is one of my go to lipsticks for fall and winter.
COVERGIRL LipPerfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Frosted Cherry Twist- This moisturizing balm adds a nice wash of color in a warm pink shade.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lip Liner- I line my lips and then fill them in with this colorless liner before putting lipstick on.  This keeps lipstick in place and helps to prevent it from bleeding.

Not Pictured:
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu- I have momentarily misplaced this so I wasn't able to take a picture of it.  It is a dark plum color and is my absolute favorite lipstick for all year round!

What are your must have items in your makeup bag?!
