Fall 2014 Beauty Trends

A new season not only means new fashion, but new hairstyles & makeup looks to try.  Here is a collection of the beauty trends that were shown for Fall 2014.  I looked to Harper's Bazaar for today's trend report.

60's Style
Chic 60s inspired hair & makeup popped up on many runways for Fall 2014.  Shown here is a model at the Versace show looking super chic with her 60s hair & makeup.  To get the look part hair to the side, flat iron, & tease at the crown.

Metallic Touches
Metallic touches, either on eyes or lips, are quite popular for Fall.  The model shown here was at the Donna Karan show, where makeup artists chose metallic eyeshadow to embrace this trend.  To get this look use Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eyeshadow in Comex Platinum & Titanium.

Lined Eyes
Heavily rimmed eyes were shown at shows including Nicole Miller, Roberto Cavalli, & pictured here at Tom Ford.  To mimic this look, line eyes with SmolderEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner in Golden Black & if a more smokey look is desired use the blending applicator to smudge liner a bit.

Minimal Makeup
Less is more when it comes to minimalist makeup looks.  Shown here at Isabel Marant, models were simply chic with makeup being used to enhance their natural beauty.  To attain this look all you need is concealer, mascara (my favorite is CoverGirl Lash Exact Mascara!), blush, & lip balm.

Mega Lashes
I am loving that long & lush lashes are a huge trend for Fall.  The picture here is of a model that walked in the Versace show with eyelashes that are to die for!  To get this look I recommend curling lashes then applying 2 coats of DiorShow Mascara in Catwalk Black.

Colorful Eye Makeup
Many shows had models rocking super colorful eye makeup, pictured here is a look from the Anna Sui show.  From bright eyeshadows to standout liners, a pop of color on the eyes is a must.  Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow & Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner both come in a variety of fun colors that will help you to get this look.

Glowing Skin
My favorite beauty trend for fall is glowing skin.  The key to getting gorgeous skin, like this model at Ralph Lauren, is to take care of your skin; wash, tone, & moisturize in the morning & at night, in addition use a cleansing brush to exfoliate.  A BB Cream like Urban Decay Naked Skin Illuminating Beauty Balm will really give you a healthy glow.
With all these fabulous choices I cannot decide which trend to try first!  Which look is your favorite for Fall?
