Recipe: Salted Caramel Popcorn

Who doesn't love a salty and sweet treat?  It's the best of both worlds and you don't have to choose between the two or land up eating something salty and something sweet.  I took the caramel I made here and used it to cook up this delicious popcorn.  If you want though you can totally use store bought caramel too!  This would make for a nice gift (put it in a cute mason jar!) or party favor, or you could just eat it yourself because it is too good to giveaway.  Learn how to make your own below.

Ingredients:
-10 cups popped popcorn (1/2 popcorn kernels + 3 tbsp. canola oil)
-1/2 cup caramel
-1 1/2 tbsp. butter
-1 tsp. sea salt

Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
-Melt butter.
-Mix butter, caramel, and sea salt until combined.
-Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and mix well with a wooden spoon until completely covered.
-Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and put popcorn on the parchment paper.
-Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
-Remove from oven and allow to cool.
-Store in an airtight container.
-Enjoy!

What's your favorite popcorn topping?
