I realized that I've never shared an athleisure look on here before even though I'm a huge fan of the athleisure trend.  I love to wear a look like this when I'm going to the doctors, running errands, having a girls night in, or when I (actually) make it to the gym.  I love how an athleisure outfit can be so cozy, but still look put together and very on trend.  These Nikes are definitely a favorite of mine and so comfortable, I really only wear the Nike Free sneakers with athleisure looks because they are so lightweight and pair well with a lot of different pieces.  If you're looking for a new pair of sneakers I would highly recommend them!

Met Gala 2017 Gowns

Monday night my favorite fashion night of the year took place, the Met Gala.  Each year the Met Gala kicks off the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibition and this year's honors Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo with an exhibition entitled “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between."  The night's attire is avant-garde black tie and the biggest stars come dressed to impress.  I have to admit that when comparing this year's Gala's fashions to last year's I was a little disappointed.  Nonetheless, there were some beautiful gowns and below I have put together all of my favorites for The Blush Blonde Met Gala Best Dressed List.

Rain Rain Go Away

Where I live everyone's backyards kind of run into one another and in our little block of houses we have a nice small treed area in the backyards.  In my direct backyard we have the cutest little Japanese Maple Tree that I always see when I let Coco out, however the other day when we were out there I looked around and noticed that right next door our neighbors have the most gorgeous Dogwoods in their backyards.  I was so excited about this when I "discovered" it and of course had to document its beauty!

I recently picked up this raincoat and have been dying to wear it.  Luckily for me we've been experiencing quite a bit of rain lately and have a rainy forecast for both today and tomorrow.  I feel a lot worse when it rains out so I like to wear a simple outfit that I can be comfy in and of course here I also wanted to let my jacket take center stage.  Lastly no rainy day look is complete without my Hunters and favorite umbrella and thankfully they all work together so well.
