April 2016 on Instagram

Is it me or did April just fly by?!  It also feels like May is going really quick too, which is crazy.  April was a pretty amazing month and a great last full month of college.  I documented everything on my Instagram account and below I have a recap of my April in pictures.  If you're not following me (@theblushblonde) make sure to do that now!

I wanted to do something fun to celebrate my school's basketball team playing in the Final Four so I thought a little nail art was a cute way to do this.  Everyone loved my nails and I was happy to have incorporated my school pride into my manicure.  Thankfully we won our game in the Final Four and I got to wear these to watch the National Championship game too!  If you live in or around Philadelphia I got these done at The Nail Bar in Newton Square, PA.  Their gel manicures (like this one!) are the best I've ever had and last forever.  They also have amazing pedicures too!

This was taken on campus the night that Villanova won the NCAA Basketball National Championship.  This was seriously the most amazing time to be on campus and a night I'll never forget.  The energy on campus was incredible and so much fun.  This was our first National Championship win in 30+ years (the last time we won was 1985) and the game was awesome so of course everyone wanted to celebrate!  I could not have asked for a better way to end my time at college.

I took this one day in Philly to show off my sorority ring from A-List Greek.  I love rose gold so I was thrilled when the sweet girls from A-List Greek sent this to me so that I could rep Alpha Gamma Delta in style.  A-List Greek is an online boutique created by a group of Greek affiliated sisters who wanted to create the cutest sorority jewelry around; in addition to this they also make custom jewelry that can be stamped with just about anything.  To see the other sorority swag I got and to learn more about the company check out this post.

Before I graduated I was dying to go to the Philadelphia Zoo.  I've been wanting to go since freshman year and I finally went in April with one of my friends.  I've been to a lot of zoos and this one was wonderful.  It has things for both children and adults, which I thought was great.  It's also like the perfect size, I felt like I saw so many animals in just three hours and it was not difficult to walk.  If you will be in or near Philly this spring or summer this is a place you should definitely check out.

This picture was taken at my sorority's International Reunion Day.  We celebrate IRD with another local school's chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta and have a picnic.  This picture is of my little and me.

This is a snapshot of an outfit I wore one day.  I wore a basic black t-shirt by Madewell with a pair of black and white print pants that I got in Greece.  To add a little color to my black and white outfit I added these gorgeous Kendra Scott Elle Earrings in Turquoise.  I got the earrings in my second Rocksbox and landed up purchasing them because I loved them so much.  Want to try Rocksbox for yourself?! I took this picture this past summer when my best friend and I were having pizza on the beach one night.  One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to get a pizza and go to the beach after almost everyone is gone and eat while watching the sun go down; my best friend and I did this quite a few times this past summer because it is just so relaxing!  One night after we ate I was playing with my camera and took about a million pictures.  I thought the sky in this picture looked gorgeous so I posted it to celebrate Earth Day.

This picture was also taken at my sorority's International Reunion Day.  My sister is a member of the other chapter we celebrate with, which is so much fun!  We got to spend some time together and then went to get sushi after.  I love having my sister in the same sorority as me and that we get to do things together because of it.

My school used to be an arboretum so there are so many beautiful trees all around campus.  I love spring and fall at school because the trees all look so pretty!  I really look forward to spring though because there are a ton of trees that bloom pink flowers, which are my absolute favorite.  I took this picture on my way to class during my last week of college classes and I'm not going to lie I started to feel so sentimental.  I am going to have to make trips back to school next year in the spring and fall to walk around and see the gorgeous trees.

My sister took this picture of Coco a while back because she wanted to turn Coco into a "dog burrito."  She caught Coco when she was tired so she allowed my sister to wrap her up in a blanket (normally she's a little crazy and wouldn't sit still for this) and it was too cute.  I posted this during finals week because it pretty much summed up exactly how I was feeling at the moment.

So this was my April in pictures!  Come check me out on Instagram (@theblushblonde) and follow along with me to see more of what's here!  How was your April?
