How Do You Handle Stress?

Today's post is brought to you courtesy of finals week, which also explains why it's nice and short.

I'm curious to know how other people handle stress.  Lately, I'm really bad at handling it, and get stressed super easy.  Due to the lovely time of year (aka end of the semester) I am a basket of nerves.  There's so much going on with finals, saying goodbye, and trying to pack up that I find myself on overload and freaking out.  I know this will all be over soon (tomorrow to be exact), but I feel like that's not helping me today.  The past few months I've been working on looking at one thing at a time, instead of the whole picture, and that had been helping with stress, until this week.  I just feel like I have so many things to remember and my head is a giant jumble.

The other day I was talking with my sister about what to post and she suggested that I do a post on stress busters since it's finals season.  However, when I thought about it I realized I can't give advice to others on something that I haven't figured out myself.  So today I'm looking to see how everyone else handles their stress.  I would love any and all input on stress busters that you use so that hopefully I can steal a few of them from you!  Please leave lots of comments letting me know or if you don't want to share it publicly feel free to email me at kristin.thomp@gmail.com.  I can use all the tips I can get!

Coco is the star of today's obligatory picture because she's adorable, and dogs make everything better.

  1. I go to the gym to de-stress a little. If I need a little de-stressor while studying I'll listen to music -I'll turn it up real loud if I'm home alone!

  4. I always make lists of everything on my mind! It helps to see everything written down, and I can cross things off once I get them done. Doing fun things like getting a pedicure or going out for ice cream helps too!

  5. I make lists of everything that I have to do with deadlines. When I have everything in one place it's a lot easier to prioritize and cross things off the list. Good luck!

  6. I really like when people ask for advice on their blog! I loved reading everyone's comments! I LOVE making "To Do" lists - crossing things off feels soooo good. I also really like running, so throwing my headphones in and taking a half hour break always helps me. I'm stopping by from the NE Bloggers FB group and am now following your blog :)

  8. I too make lists, I write everything down in my planner, I get on the same page with my husband about everything that's going on, I take a few hours to myself to get a pedicure or do a little shopping or even have a sweet treat. :)
