Festive Friday

I am loving being home!  It is so amazing to just relax & to have a blank 'To Do' list.  Also Coco & I have been snuggling all week, which just makes everything so much better.  So from my comfy couch Coco & I bring you Five on Friday:

The Best News Ever
On Tuesday I received an email filled with the most amazing news: I'm going to Greece this summer!  A few months back I applied for a 6 week communications study abroad program & am ecstatic to be going.  I am the happiest girl ever, Greece just seems like such an amazing place.  The program description says, "Following a few days in Athens, the program will move to Mykonos, Delos, Santorini, Crete, Delphi (overnight ferry), Tolo, which allows for trips to Mycenae, Eleusis, Ancient Corinth, among others. The program will conclude following a brief final stay in Athens."  I know a few girls that went on last year's trip & they said it was the best experience of their lives.  They even hold class on the beaches, I seriously cannot wait!

Holiday Sparkle

Lately I have been loving sequin skirts.  They are the perfect thing to wear for holiday parties & Christmas.  I recommend keeping your other pieces minimal to really let the skirt shine (no pun intended).  I have a fabulous high wasted fit & flare gold sequined skirt that I got at J.Crew about three years ago.  I brought it home with me & am thinking about wearing it for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day & will probably style it with a long sleeve black top & black tights.  I love that these skirts serve as an outfit centerpiece.  With so many fun choices, which is your favorite?

Don't Forget To Wrap Yourself!

Faux fur jackets are a super chic way to stay warm.  I also feel like fur feels so holidayish!  I am allergic to real fur & am not a fan of it anyway so faux fur makes for an awesome alternative.  I have a jacket that I got a few years ago that I live in & get so many compliments on.  If you get one of these I guarantee you will love it!

At Home Fashions
There have been some very festive winter & holiday ensembles making appearances in our living room lately.

My sister had her wisdom teeth out on Tuesday & has been rocking footy pj's while she recovers.  She's been very warm & snug in them, & they will be perfect for the winter time!  (She was even kind enough to let me take a picture!)  Then last night I put Coco in her Santa Paws shirt.  Sadly it is a little too small, but she sat nicely for a picture before I took it off.  I really love these two & their crazy clothing!

Christmas Music
Keeping with the holiday theme I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday songs!

So that is all I have for today!  What are your plans for the weekend?  Hopefully something fun for the holidays!

Haha I just keep telling myself that once I graduate I will be able to go there for pleasure instead of school, but let's be real... then there are loans to pay off!
