Christmas On The Brain

Since I have finished finals & am home now, I really have Christmas on the brain.  I feel like the Christmas season doesn't really start for a college student until you are done with the semester & have made it home.  It's just such a nice feeling to have a break & get to spend time with your family.  I'm really enjoying the holiday season & thought it would be fun to share the awesome Christmas things that I cannot get off my mind.

Baking List

Starting today I am going on a Christmas baking extravaganza!  I love baking so much, especially during the holidays.  Last year I missed out on it because I had to have a few surgeries over break, so I am making up for it this year.  I have full intentions of baking all of the cookies on this list & sharing them with you.  Today my mom & I will be starting on the gingerbread cookies!  She has the day off & I am looking forward to baking together.  I've already shared the recipes I am going to be using for the Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip & Chocolate Chip cookies, which you can find here & here, so I won't be reposting them.  On top of all of these I will be making some sort of cookie with caramel.  Since I am allergic to fructose I cannot typically have caramel [because it is filled with corn syrup], but at The Franklin Fountain in Philadelphia they sell jars of homemade caramel that is made with heavy cream & sugar.  Needless to say I am so freaking excited about this!  I have been searching Pinterest & am stuck between 3 recipes, check them out here, here, & here, & let me know, which one you think I should make.

Pink Christmas
Ever since I took down my little pink tree on Sunday night I have been dreaming of a pink Christmas.  Pinterest has not been helping this either & I have found so many ways to make a pink Christmas chic & very do-able.  I will have a giant pink Christmas tree one day!

I hope my future husband doesn't mind pink!

Holiday Movies
There are so many great Christmas movies to choose from, but three of my favorites are  The Santa Clause, White Christmas, & Eloise at Christmastime.

My mom & I love to watch these & many more throughout the Christmas season.  The Hallmark Channel also has some really great movies that we always enjoy!

So these are a few of the Christmas-y things on my brain right now!  Are you thinking about any of these too?

  6. Your cookie list is making me hungry! Sounds so good, I need to start baking! I love all of your pink Christmas pins too. If I had my way, our house would be "pnkified" for Christmas! (I think I just made up that word!)

  9. DREAMING OF A GREENESSESS Christmas is a unique film that takes the audience on a journey to a land called Christmas Land. This land is populated by fairies, elves and lions who look like the lions from Disney's" Lion King". We are also introduced to several new characters who join forces with the protagonist, Miss Bliss. Throughout DREAMING OF A GREENESS we learn that Miss Bliss' father, a rich prince, has fallen out with her and taken with his heiress, Fairies Grace.
