Recipe: Gimme S'more

S'mores are a big summer tradition and have always been a favorite of mine, however when I found out I was fructose intolerant (6 years ago) they were something I could no longer have.  All marshmallows I knew of were basically pure high fructose corn syrup and all graham crackers either had high fructose corn syrup, honey (which is high in natural fructose), or both in them.  About a year ago I found fructose free marshmallows that have a fluff like consistency, and I use them to make Rice Krispie Treats.  A few months ago though my Mom found Dandies Marshmallows, which are fructose free and shaped like actual marshmallows.

They're delicious and contain no gelatin, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, peanuts, corn, wheat, fat, or fructose.  (I don't suggest making Rice Krispies with them though because they did not react well once they cooled, they got rock hard.)

Then a few weeks ago I saw a commercial saying that Nabisco had removed the high fructose corn syrup from their original graham crackers and to say I was excited was an understatement.  I can now make completely fructose free s'mores, and you can too!  Just in time for summer!

Ingredients:
Dandies Marshmallows
Nabisco Grahams
Hershey's Milk Chocolate

Instructions:
-Break graham crackers in half.
-Place 3 chocolate squares on a graham cracker half.
-Roast 1 marshmallow over fire or grill (if you do not have access to either of these you can always microwave the marshmallows!).
-When the marshmallow is roasted to your liking place on the graham cracker half with the chocolate and top with another graham cracker half.
-Repeat for as many s'mores as you like!
-Enjoy!

Happiest girl to have the first bite of a s'more in years!
